happy hour on Thursday. pay them for a drink, keep them the recipe, get them the second free. also some snacks around the bar. bear-oriented publikum from all age groups and sizes, and some jägers here and there. the best music in the city I swear I heard once rusty nails by moderat what I can say otherwise.

Whether you're a bear or not, it's a nice and big late bar. I've always has the most fun with the very friendly staff and patrons. My favourite place in Barcelona and I cannot recommend enough!

While in Barcelona, the Bacon Bear Bar is a most go! Very friendly bartenders and a lot of friendly patrons. We always met friendly people to talk with. Every night after exploring the city we stopped in for happy hour.

There were two stools at the bar, with enough space between. A muscular hot dude sat in one of them. I went to the other stooland the bartender said there is someone sitting there. Not even a minute later, the bartender takes that stool and stacks it against the wall. There was no one sitting in that seat, liar.

A bar I have always wanted to check out, and tonight I did I am utterly disgusted. An overweight, bald little bar man in an X-Men t-shirt was the most condescending, arrogant, self-loathing and unpleasant individual I have encountered in some time. We asked him what his favourite X-Men character was, in order to be friendly and initiate conversation, to which he replied, I dislike the X-Men, I don't care. I just got it as a gift We asked him where we could go dancing afterwards, attempting to change the conversation to something less negative, to which he replied, you can't dance in here you will get arrested, it's the law in Barcelona Of course, this is a lie and absurd, but the man believed we were ignorant to the city; in fact, he told us we were tourists (intended as an insult) when the truth is that we moved to the country to live, weeks ago, and have visited Barcelona every summer consecutively for six years. He told us with a dismissive, unpleasant tone that everywhere else is closed because people have to work tomorrow. Of course, if this was genuinely the case, the bar itself would not be open. If you are a tourist to the country, please bear in mind that the bar staff will treat you with extreme contempt and disrespect, and make you feel unwelcome. It is no surprise at all that the bar was almost completely empty: it is void of atmosphere, warmth and any kind of respect. A disgrace to the wonderful, charming city of Barcelona. If logic prevails, surely this individual will be sacked before any more damage is done.
