Miyama - Madrid

in contrast to the website suggests there is no Japanese chef. we ordered the menu to see what they can do. “Keep it rohe” is the final sushi, nigiri, sashimi are good and close to the real Japanese taste. the cooked food is under the same, especially given. the price. the flammer prepared dishes are made with (moaisonose type sauces). we paid for two, for a menu that does not even contain a desert or you/coffee and we drank water. too expensive for a mediocre experience.

good restaurant, good service. food quality was high / very high and also the presentation. we went with Japanese people and we ordered, simple, omakase. we had a lot of good food and we would recommend it again.

I love this restaurant so much and it was a joy to be back after such a long absence. The food is delicious it's such an art japanese cuisine. We had the tatar of tuna and the dumplings and then the various sashimi which...was absolutely amazing. We ended with the ebi fry and california rolls and then a wonderful Gin and tonic on the house. The waiter Vinicius was absolutely wonderful so attentive and friendly and honestly made the night for us. Missed seeing Maddie there this time though. Once again a wonderful experience in a wonderful restaurant. Can't wait to go back again. Jane and Juan

I was by myself in Madrid, looking for something non meat and wandered by Miyama ... i love traditional Japanese cuisine and the menu looked most authentic. It was a lovely eve. The waitress let me sample sakes to make my selection .. a...generous pour with half left in a beaker so they could leave it in an ice bath to stay cool. A lovely soup with bits of mushroom and veggies; great vegetable tempura; black cod with Miso that was so perfect. It's not one of the inexpensive places in the neighborhood, but go ahead and treat yourself! (note that they have a beautifully and very reasonably priced daily lunch menu as well)

Miyama is just a couple of minutes away from where I live in Plaza Espana. Best Shabu Shabu I have had outside Japan...Totally authentic. Restaurant is small and tables are a little small and close together but the food is always great. Nice staff and...good service.

The food is excellent, the sushis are exquisite, specially the spicy sauce. The restaurant is very simple but it’s clean and the personal is attentive.
