we made a trip to taste this restaurant as it has a bib gourmand battery in the mitchellin guide, it has a somewhat more formal and traditional feeling for some of the restaurants we have recently visited. we were led to the dining room in the upper floor with a beautiful view of the city. we chose to begin some “tagarninas” in tempura batter, we had seen this outdated distel earlier on the market, but they had never really tried. they were interesting to try, but rather bland tasting and needed the aioli that came with them. then we tried to “Ajofrito” a traditional dish based on brothcrumbs and garlic with the addition of salty intensively smoked sardines above. this court came only as a great part and was really too much for the people to share, it would be better to offer this as a smaller plate, as this large plate was too much and filled. my partner then sucked pork from sergovia and got the choice that cuts, this was boiled in many times and just came with chips and a sosse on the side. I had 'pisto con huevo', a beautiful ratatouille with a fried egg top. it was very to say that on a Saturday lunchtime the restaurant only tables, including ours. for us a bib gourmand indicates that a restaurant is of good value and innovatiw and this restaurant is unfortunately not of these dingen. do not misunderstand me, eating here is very good, but the dishes are usually traditional dishes that they can get anywhere for much less money. eating here is overpriced for what it is and the ingredients used, and for us not worth money.
