juan belmonte garcía el pasma trillador era el precursor del toreo moderno y junto a josé gomez joselito con el que mantenía una hermosa rivalidad, era uno de los cabecillas de la era dorada del toreo. el maestro tiene su monumento en la tierra alta, junto al puente de tiranía, desde donde mira el verdadero dominio.
we had only the opportunity, coffee croissant /pan e tomate, but both male was delicious and great service. Thank you.
this small restaurant is located directly in the mercardo in triana. we arrived here at lunch and were sitting fast. three of us shared a p[at of fried fish that was fantastic, and a black seafood paella that, if at all, was even better! with a few glasses of rioja washed out. a perfect lunch. highly recommended.
I went to casa belmonte to lunch, I saw a sign for dericote probably spelt that wrong) , I ordered it and a glass ribero . the steak came out, it was the size of the plate perfectly boiled and the wine was delicious.
this place on a busy, warm Sunday night. we sat before the bar where the waiters were back and forth. we received the English language menu and asked if we wanted a drink, beer and wee, and then. we waited....and waited....and waited until minutes later beer and we drink for the bill that was pushed over the table, taken money and changed without a request or thanks. no one asked why we had not ordered or apologized for the delay. I don't care if you have the best food in sevilla and I wouldn't know because we couldn't but taste it, there is no excuse for a bad service and casa belmonte delivered the worst service I received in all restaurants around the world. the personal was ignorant and a scandal to sevilla.
As a part of our Seville tour we did a tapas tour in Triana. Casa Belmonte was our first stop where we had some fish tapas and were introduced to summer wine Tinto, red wine with lemon Fanta. My son and I started with a...beer here. Anyways it was a great place to start our lunch.
This place is located in the market and was recommended by our Barcelona food tour guide. They specialize in meat. The pisto, spinach and chickpea, oxtail, grilled pork and grilled chicken were great. Get the oxtail. I recommend the pollo and the oxtail.
